Sayed Mahdi Qazwini and Zahra Albattat

Zahra Albattat lives in Claremont California with her husband Sayed Mahdi, she has a B.A in Social Science with a focus in Youth Advocacy and Community Development from Metropolitan State University in Minnesota. Zahra has extensive experience working with disadvantaged, at-risk youth, and immigrant families. She comes from a large Muslim family of nine siblings that have all grown up in different age ranges in a very complex world. She is the third oldest and often finds herself mentoring and guiding her younger siblings with their personal life challenges and pursuits. Having pursued life coaching and mentorship herself, she knows the positive impact it can have on the life of a young person and today strives to pay it forward. Her approach to mentorship focuses on positive reinforcement, personal development, emotional intelligence and self-love. C.O.O.L has giving Zahra the opportunity to do what she does best and that’s to be a friend. Zahra’s hobbies include books, cooking, camping, networking, poetry and the great outdoors.
